OBD Plug & Play and Leasing
Teltonika GPS trackers with plug & play installation via OBD-II. Plug into the car's OBD-II port and you are done: 2 minutes, no wiring, nothing to disassemble. It is the standard option for corporate leasing, fleets with high vehicle turnover and car-sharing, where you do not want to touch the car's original wiring.
The FMC003 is the reference model: it reads OEM parameters available over OBD-II (mileage, RPM, speed, fuel consumption, DTC codes, temperature) on any car built from 2001 onwards (petrol) or 2004 (diesel). When you return the car, you unplug the device and reuse it.
Leasing advantage: zero impact on the manufacturer's warranty, no installation or removal. Limitation: the driver can unplug it (visible in the OBD port).
